With all these new features, you might be wondering how long the controller lasts on a charge. Fortunately, the battery life is not bad. Sony claims five to six hours of use on one charge, which roughly matches the battery life of the DualShock 4 controller , and seems fair based on my usage. Five to six hours should be sufficient for most users, especially those who have a dock or something to charge the controller when not in use. I only charge when necessary, but I have two controllers, mainly for multiplayer use.
