The PlayStation 5 is definitely a step up from the previous generation of PS4, thanks to its improved performance and its fantastic new user interface. But perhaps the best thing about the new console is its new controller. The PS5 controller isn't just an update, and it's a total generational leap.

With all these new features, you might be wondering how long the controller lasts on a charge. Fortunately, the battery life is not bad. Sony claims five to six hours of use on one charge, which roughly matches the battery life of the DualShock 4 controller , and seems fair based on my usage.
